We sit in the middle of the historic district, an easy walk from every other landmark on Bennett Avenue and a roughly hour-long drive from Colorado Springs.
Two Routes Up the Mountain
Standard route (about 60 minutes): Take US-24 West out of Colorado Springs toward Divide, then head south on CO-67 through Victor and into Cripple Creek. This road is paved and plowed year-round, the route we recommend for most guests, especially in winter.
Scenic route (about 75 minutes, summer only): Gold Camp Road climbs out of the southwest side of Colorado Springs along the old railroad grade, with wide views back toward Pikes Peak. Sections are unpaved and it typically closes with the first heavy snowfall — check current conditions before taking this route between October and May.
From Denver, plan on roughly two and a half hours via I-25 South to Colorado Springs, then either route above.

Nearly every casino, restaurant, and shop in Cripple Creek sits along or just off Bennett Avenue, within a five-minute walk of the resort.

The historic narrow-gauge depot is a short walk from the resort — ask our concierge about current departure times.
Winter Road Conditions
CDOT maintains US-24 and CO-67 year-round, but conditions change fast at this elevation. Our front desk checks conditions each morning and can advise before you head down the mountain.
